A "wonder"ful story for Christmas eve: Marcelo Farias Hild was director of the Kairos Centre in Buenos Aires/Argentina in the 90s. It was at his centre where in 1997 the then "World Collaboration Committee" invented the new name "Oikosnet" for the global network of academies and laity centres. A couple of years after having left the centre Marcelo was diagnosed with Parkinson disease. But he did not give up, and today Marcelo is back as a renowned composer, musician and singer who commits himself to supporting people with Parkinson disease, especially in Argentina and Uruguay. Check out his website here!
